A brief overview of the project: we completely renovated the first-floor bathroom by removing all existing elements, including the original cabinetry, built-in linen closet, and the combined tub/shower. Our objective was to maximize storage while maintaining an open feel with a walk-in shower. To achieve this, we relocated the shower, adjusted the window placement to enhance the new layout, added a linen cabinet, and updated the vanity. From a design perspective, we aimed to create a bathroom that is functional, airy, and bright, featuring a variety of textural and organic elements. With warm dark wood accents, neutral tones, and unlacquered brass hardware, we are thrilled with the final result.
